ARRL Radiogram

Under the direction the new ARES Plan per the ARRL, there is a renewed look at the National Traffic System (NTS) and the passing of voice messages by amateur radio. The Radiogram is a standard format for messages. It allows amateur radio operators to use a consistent layout and format for moving messages, called traffic, around the world.

One can find a number of different Radiogram formats on the web, and further a variety of instruction guides, some of great length. In an effort to simplify and convenient to use, a 2 page instructional cheat sheet is presented here, with a recent few notations added. All ham radio operators should be familiar with the Radiogram form and how to use it. Two versions of the form are also available here. The first is a single form on an 8-1/2” x 11” page, and the second has two forms on single page, plus this version is electronically-fillable.

Suggest printing out the instructional cheat sheet for future reference and making copies of a form that you find preferable to use.
